1. “Introduction and Settling into Comfort”

Welcome. I invite you to allow yourself these precious fifteen minutes to be fully present with your body, your breath, your heart, your mind. In this moment, nothing else matters but your peace, your comfort, and your relaxation.
Firstly, find the most comfortable place in your home where you feel safe and peaceful. It could be a cozy corner of your living room, your bedroom or even your garden. Place a cushion or yoga mat on the floor, but if you prefer, you can also choose a comfortable chair to sit in. Make sure that you are relaxed, but upright, maintaining a good posture.
Sit comfortably.
As you settle in, let your attention sweep through your body, starting from the top of your head, moving downwards, letting go of any tension or tightness you may come across.
Relax your body.
As your body starts to relax, if you feel comfortable, gently close your eyes.
Close your eyes.
Now, let us begin this journey to relaxation and serenity together.
Place one hand on your belly and the other on your heart. Feel the warmth and the rise and fall of your breath. Stay in this space for a while, giving your complete attention to your breath.
Notice your breath.
Do not make any effort to change your breathing, simply notice the sensation of the breath as it enters and leaves your body. Every inhale brings in fresh, calming energy, while every exhale releases tension and stress.
Allow any thoughts or worries that come into your mind to float away like clouds in a blue sky. You are not these thoughts, you are not these worries. They come and they go, but you are constant, you are still.
Let go of thoughts and worries.
Every thought, every worry, every tension is replaced by a sense of relaxation and peace, filling you from within.
You are here, in this moment, fully present, calm, peaceful and relaxed. Cherish this feeling.
Cultivate peace and relaxation.
From this moment on, let these fifteen minutes be your sanctuary, your haven of peace and tranquility. Enjoy every breath, every moment, every second.
Stay here for a while and when you’re ready, you can gently lift your hands off your belly and heart, slowly flutter open your eyes and embrace the world around you with a newfound sense of calm and relaxation.
