Welcome, dear friend, to a profound journey of letting go. As we embark on this meditative journey, remember to approach it with kindness and compassion for yourself. This is a safe space; a sacred time you’ve carved out from your usual busy schedule to nurture your inner self and release anything not serving your highest good.
First and foremost, find a comfortable place to sit, where you can let go of any physical discomfort that could obstruct the fluidity of your journey. Choose a spot where you won’t be interrupted. Surround yourself with a quiet and peaceful ambiance. This could be your favorite chair, a soft mat, or a dedicated meditation corner – anywhere where you’re able to fully relax and settle your body.
Once you’ve found your spot, let’s begin by bringing awareness to our physical body.
- Close your eyes and gently shift your focus inwards. Start noticing what you are feeling physically right at this very moment. It could be the softness of the cushion, the temperature of the room, or the texture of the clothes you’re wearing. Simply observe, refrain from labeling or making any judgments.
- Lay your hands softly onto your thighs, sense the energy radiating from them. Allow this warmth to comfort you.
